Paul Werder
Paul Werder
Paul Werder founded LionHeart Consulting, Inc. in 1983. He has a successful track record implementing organizational changes and improving the culture and financial performance of businesses and non-profit organizations. He consistently brings forth an inspiring level of commitment and insight to ensure that each person achieves the level of success they are committed to. One of Paul's clients said this in appreciation of his work: He navigates the macro and micro terrains of business and soul, patching together a seamless flow of service-with-heart as a radical, humble, urgent warrior in a dangerous and potent time.
His favorite assignments involve multi-year organizational change efforts designed to improve the client's profitability by inspiring a spirit of purpose and unity within the organization. He works with leaders, executive teams, and employee teams throughout the organization to bring about the desired changes. Paul is currently the Chairperson of the Spiritual Leadership in Business and Organizations department at The University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism. He teaches business people how to shift their organizational reality from "accumulating material wealth at all costs" to "genuinely enriching the planet for the benefit of all". His greatest joy as a consultant has been to teach leaders how to walk through the world of business motivated by love and contribution as opposed to fear.
Some of his previous clients include: Rejuvenation, Powell's City of Books, Leatherman Tool Group, Oregon Department of Forestry, Bonneville Power, Intel Corporation, Nike, HP, Hughes Space and Communication, Chevron, Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research, Standard Tile, Pacific Land Development, The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine NCCAOM, The Oregon Natural Step Network, and Hepieric Corporation.
Paul received an advanced degree in Spiritual & Medical Healing from The Jaffe Institute (currently called The University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism) in 2001. Paul holds an MSW from the University of Washington in 1976 where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. Prior to that, he earned a BS at the State University of New York at Buffalo with a double major in Social Work and English Literature.
